Solving a big problem: The Maratek Solvent Recycling System

Some of the printing industry’s biggest pollution culprits are the solvents used in the pressroom. But by installing the Maratek Solvent Recycling System, we’ve found an excellent solution.

The Solvent Saver removes contaminants from used blanket and roller washers and separates the pure water from the recovered solvent automatically. This enables us to reuse solvents multiple times. Beyond cutting our costs for new solvents, the Solvent Saver lessens hauling liabilities and reduces the amount of hazardous waste that could be absorbed into water systems and in the ground.
