The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a non-profit organization that promotes responsible, ethical management of the world’s forests. When a product bears the FSC Chain-of-Custody certification logo, you can be sure that from logger to printer, every step that went into making that product adheres to the Council’s strict standards. Of all printers in the United States, only 6% are FSC certified.
OSP is among that 6%. Meaning, OSP is one of only 703 printers in the U.S. that exclusively use eco-friendly, FSC-certified paper obtained from sustainable forests. What’s more, in our dedication to conserving rainforests, all excess paper is recycled. Last year alone, we recycled 2,269 tons.
Mindful of landfills
Through our re-use of containers, cardboard, packaging, press plates and other materials, we are making every effort in keeping landfills a lot less filled. Even OSP’s business and sales offices “think green,” purchasing recycled paper, recycling ink cartridges for our printers and maintaining an ongoing can recycling program.
In addition, OSP uses stable, easily removable vegetable inks on every job to reduce paper waste and further enhance our recycling initiatives.
When you see your final printed piece, you’ll deem it brilliant. And you’ll deem yourself brilliant for having chosen OSP, who in the last 10 years, has saved over 340,000 trees.
Now that’s creating a smaller footprint…in a very big way.
